Little Travis began life as a wonderful Lee Middleton doll by Reva Schick. He was originally a Sweet Lips sculpt named Charming. Please browse through Travis' pictures and I will describe his "rebirth" to you. Enjoy, and as always, thanks for visiting the Azygous Kids Nursery.

What a big boy Travis is!

Although I sometimes create babies from the same sculpts, they cannot be reproduced and each Azygous Kids baby is unique. I am not doing special order babies at this time, so if you would like an Azygous Kid, please bid on one here on ebay.

Travis was made for my own collection, but I am trying to thin it down at this time.

I hand painted Travis to create real looking toddler skin. I wanted him to have the peaches and cream coloring of a fresh, clean child. Each little fold and crease was attended to. Of course, he is not a play toy, but a collectible, heirloom, meant to last for a long time.

I painted wispy eyebrows on Travis. I also painted natural colored lips that have been sealed, and hand applied top and bottom eyelashes to match accent his beautiful blue eyes. His fingernails and toenails have been tipped in off-white and all were sealed with a sealer that won't yellow with time. I opened Travis' nose very carefully, so he could breathe.

Travis has a beautiful curly wig. I just love the little curls this one has. You can wrap this hair around your finger and make tiny little pin curls. He is VERY poseable!!!

Travis occasionally still uses a pacifier, but not often.

Travis is so fun to dress since he has full limbs. I used his original Lee Middleton body, but reweighed it with poly pellets, and stuffed it with soft, premium polyfil stuffing for cuddliness. His little bottom is stuffed with baby fat pellets for that soft, squishy feeling. I don't go for a lot of weight, I want these babies to FEEL good when you hold them, and feel a more "natural" weight, rather than heavy, dead weight. Travis is very cuddly and poseable. He wears 0-3 month baby clothing, and can wear some 3-6 month.

Travis can hold his own head up, since he is a toddler. However, it's very adjustable for lots of cute poses.

Travis has a magnetic pacifier. If you need the magnet removed, please let me know. They should not be used around computer equipment or pacemakers.

Travis' Homecoming:

Travis will arrive home to you with his darling blue one piece outfit and the penguin print jacket. He will bring along some sneakers and his favorite bear (not necessarily the one pictured.) He will bring his giraffe Halloween costume, because he looks SO cute in it. He will also bring things not pictured, like his favorite blanket, his pajamas, and an extra diaper. Of course, he wouldn't go anywhere without his pacifier, just in case.

His homecoming will be via Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation and cost $20.00.

I feel so blessed by God to be able to create these incredibly "real" babies. I love creating them and I am anxious to share them with you. I have enjoyed real babies all my life and making these reborns seems to come naturally to me. I have been an artist for many years, painting with water colors and oils, so creating these small children is like painting on a 3D canvas. It is truly a gift from God. And, such fun!!!
