FOREVER BABIES AT REASONABLE PRICES!

Tiny Tina was reborn from a brand new Berenguer lots to love baby. I had never done a doll this size before, and figured it would be a challenge, and fun! I wasn't even sure when I started whether it would be a boy or a girl, but once I put the eyes in, I knew instantly she was a girl! I love the delicate nature of this baby. Please browse through Tina's pictures and I will describe her"rebirth" to you. Enjoy and as always, thanks for visiting the Azygous Kids Nursery.

I started Tina as all the babies here, by having all of her factory paint removed. I took almost all the ridges off her head, giving her an almost smooth baby scalp. She took a nice, warm bubble bath to bring out her"babyish" color.

I hand painted Tina, inside and out, using acrylic and oil based paints. Each little fold and crease was attended to. Of course, she is no longer a toy, but a collectible, heirloom, meant to last for a long time

I handpainted wispy eyebrows and natural colored lips that have been sealed and hand-applied baby lashes. Her little fingernails and toenails have been tipped in off-white (so natural looking), and sealed with a sealer that won't yellow with time. Tina's nose has been opened so she can breathe and I gave her the prettiest green eyes. (sorry some of the close up pictures are blurry, but I put them here anyway so you could view her beautiful eyes and hair.)

Her hair is beautiful kid mohair from ebay's own Organdyrose. (Thanks as always Linda!!!) I just love their mohair. Hand grown (by goats, of course) and hand dyed (by the goat's owners). I rooted Tina's hair very, very sparsely, as a new baby would have. You can leave it fluffy, or wet it a little and curl it or smooth it straight as I have above. I tried a new needle on Tina's head and I promise that the hairs are rooted just 1 or 2 at a time, and it looks truly, like it is growing from her little head.

I gave Tina has a new, cloth body. Her limbs have been filled with sterile sand, and sealed to prevent leakage. Her body has been stuffed and weighted with premium polyester stuffing and pellets. She is so poseable and cuddly. This baby just exceeded all my expectations. She just came to life on her own quite a bit.

Tina wears preemie baby clothing. It is so fun to hold and dress this baby. You will have to support her head when you hold her, just like a real baby. Her full arms and legs make it nice to dress her in short type outfits. I have her long pants pulled up in the photo above to show you those cute little knees.

I gave Tina a pacifier that has a very strong magnet, and should not be used around computers or pacemakers. However, it wasn't done being made before I had my photography session, so it is not pictured in these photos. Sorry. It will be included.

Tina's Homecoming:

I will send Tina home to you in her pretty Alexis outfit. She will also bring her favorite toy and blanket (not pictured) and another outfit of my choice. She will have her pacifier along in case she gets fussy.

Please e-mail me if you have any questions about baby Tina. She was born in a smoke-free nursery as all babies should be. Please remember that Brittney is not a play toy, and is NOT recommended for small children.

Tina will bring this belly plate with her if you like, although it is not a perfect match. It is a belly plate that I had from a preemie Cititoy baby.

Please watch for my other reborn babies. I will be listing babies from now through Christmas. I will have Middleton , Berenguer, Cititoy (Citi Toy), Zapf, Antonio Juan, and Berjusa reborns. Thanks so much for viewing Tina .

I am especially excited about Tina's brother, who will be listed in a few days. He is an Antonio Juan baby, who is just stunning. Please check back.

Tina (as all my babies are) will be signed and numbered by me on her bottom.

I will ship internationally, but please contact me ahead of time for shipping estimates.

I feel so blessed by God to be able to create these incredibly "real" babies. I love creating them and I am anxious to share them with you. I have enjoyed real babies all my life and making these reborns seems to come naturally to me. I have been an artist for many years, painting with water colors and oils, so creating these small children is like painting on a 3D canvas. It is truly a gift from God. And, such fun!!!
