Azygous Kids is proud to present

Jeffrey James

Jeffrey James was (re)born April 17, 2004. He weighs 4 pounds. Baby Jeffrey is a preemie measuring 18 inches long. He was reborn from a vintage Jesmar baby. (See picture below) Nothing was skimped on, in the creating of baby Jeffrey. He has beautiful hazel/grey eyes, soft hair, and wonderful little baby features. Browse through Jeffrey's pictures as I describe his"rebirth" to you. Enjoy and thanks for visiting the Azygous Kids Nursery.

Please be patient for the graphic pictures to load. I love photographing these babies, and sometimes get carried away. He is so much like taking photos of a real child.

Jeffrey started by having all the factory paint removed, and his original cloth body taken away. He took a nice, warm bath to bring out his "babyish" color.

Jeffrey James was hand painted, inside and out, using acrylic and oil based paints. Each little fold and crease was attended to.He is no longer a toy, but a collectible, heirloom, meant to last for a long time.

He has beautiful handpainted wispy eyebrows, natural colored lips that have been sealed and wispy dark hand-applied eyelashes. His little fingernails and toenails have been tipped in off-white (so natural looking), and sealed with a sealer that won't yellow with time. Jeffrey's nose has been opened so he can breathe. He is a preemie, but so awake and alert.

Isn't he beautiful? Jeffrey has very soft, dark brown, almost black micro rooted kid mohair. It has been secured inside his head, so can be styled as you like. You can brush it straight, or spritz it and curl it up. It has been rooted very sparsely, as a new baby would have.

He has been stuffed and weighted with premium polyester stuffing, poly pellets and sterile sand. His arms and legs are sealed to prevent leaking.

Jeffrey has a new soft, cloth body that makes him so poseable with his full legs/ arms. He has a Euro style body, that adds "shoulders" and poseability to him. His full arms/legs make it so fun to dress him in short outfits when the weather is warm. He can wear preemie baby clothing and is so fun to shop for. Holding Jeffrey will feel like you are holding a real baby. You will even have to support his little head when you hold him, just like a real baby. You won't want to put him down.

Jeffrey is such a good baby. He will come with a modified pacifier (not shown) in case he gets fussy. No magnets here, since his mouth was already open, I felt a modified paci made more sense.

Baby Jeffrey is so much REAL looking.

Jeffrey's Features:

((Jeffrey James was named after the two most special young men in my life. He reminds me of both of them, when they were this size! They are both grown now, and making me so happy and proud of them!))

Jeffrey would love to have a new mommy, won't you be his new mommy? Please e-mail me if you have any questions about baby Jeffrey James. He was born in a smoke-free nursery as all babies should be. Again, remember, Jeffrey is not a play toy, and is NOT recommended for small children.

Remember please, Jeffrey began life as a toy made in the 1980s. He is NOT a new baby. He will have marks and such on him that show he is a vintage item, but nothing that detracts from his beauty. Instead of being a toy that somebody will throw away, Jeffrey is now a vintage heirloom, made as an adult "toy" (collectible) to be around for years to come. Please view the below photo to see what Jeffrey looked like originally.

I feel so blessed by God to be able to create these incredibly "real" babies. I love creating them and I am anxious to share them with you.
