Baby Carol started life as a discontinued AA playbaby from Lee Middleton, sculpted by Reva Schick. I hope you enjoy viewing Carol as much as I enjoyed making her. Athough Carol is a preemie, she is on the border between preemie size and full size. She is all ready for her first Christmas in her fancy red velvet dress.

Although I sometimes create babies from the same sculpts, they cannot be reproduced and each Azygous Kids baby is unique. I am not doing special order babies until after Christmas, so if you would like an Azygous Kid, please bid on one here on ebay.

Carol has beautiful splotchy brown skin as a newborn might have. Each little fold and crease was attended to. Of course, she is not a play toy, but a collectible, heirloom, meant to last for a long time.

Carol has the most gorgeous Masterpiece eyes in Chuck Hazel. I just love this color. I painted wispy, dark eyebrows on Carol. I also painted natural colored lips that have been sealed, and hand applied black eyelashes to match her hair. Her fingernails and toenails have been tipped in off-white and all were sealed with a sealer that won't yellow with time. I opened Carol's nose very carefully, so she could breathe.

Carol has a beautiful Kemper mohair wig in dark brown. I don't normally use wigs, but Carol wanted a full head of hair in dark brown, with slight curls. It is fun to style, as you can spritz it with a little water or detangler and do all sorts of things with it.

Carol is so very poseable and nice to hold. She has a new, beautiful, jointed, chocolate brown cloth body by Spearson doll bodies. Elli makes some of the BEST!!!! It makes her a little longer than she originally was and way fun to pose. She has 1/4 vinyl limbs. Her limbs are weighted with tiny glass pellets and she has poly pellets in her body, along with premium polyester stuffing for cuddliness. I don't go for a lot of weight, I want these babies to FEEL good when you hold them, and feel a more "natural" weight, rather than heavy, dead weight. Carol is a preemie but can wear preemie or 0-3 month sized baby clothing.

You will have to support her head when you hold her, just like a real newborn baby.

Carol has a magnetic pacifier. If you need the magnet removed, please let me know. They should not be used around computer equipment or pacemakers.

Carol will bring home her beautiful Hand Made (NOT by me, I can't sew!!!) red velvet Christmas dress. She will also bring along her little white rumba tights (lace on bottom!!!) and red velvet shoes although they ARE too big for her. Carol will also bring her beautiful white, wintery Carter's sleeper. She loves her little Christmas Moose and of course, her pacifier. I will also include her favorite blanket and an extra diaper for her as well.

Christmas Santa hat and blankets shown are not included.

Her homecoming will be via Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation and cost $20.00.

I feel so blessed by God to be able to create these incredibly "real" babies. I love creating them and I am anxious to share them with you. I have enjoyed real babies all my life and making these reborns seems to come naturally to me. I have been an artist for many years, painting with water colors and oils, so creating these small children is like painting on a 3D canvas. It is truly a gift from God. And, such fun!!!
