FOREVER BABIES AT REASONABLE PRICES!
Little Brooke was reborn from a Preemie sized Berenguer Lots to Love baby. Please browse through Brooke' s pictures and I will describe her"rebirth" to you. Enjoy and as always, thanks for visiting the Azygous Kids Nursery.
Brooke started life as most babies here at the Azygous Nursery. I removed all her original color, smoothed her baby head, and started with the newly blank canvas. She took a nice warm bubble bath to bring out those pretty baby colors.
I love this sculpt. She is such a little munchkin. Although I have created a baby from this sculpt in the past, each Azygous Kids baby is unique, so if baby Brooke has crawled into your heart, please bid now, as she can not be reproduced. I hand painted Brooke inside and out, using acrylic and oil based paints. Each little fold and crease was attended to. Of course, she is no longer a toy, but is now a collectible, heirloom, meant to last for a long time.
I painted wispy eyebrows on baby Brooke. I also painted natural colored lips that have been sealed and hand applied baby lashes in a beautiful shade of brown. She has lovely brown Real eyes as well. I just love blonde kids with brown eyes!!! Her tiny little fingernails and toenails have been tipped in off-white (so natural looking), and sealed with a sealer that won't yellow with time. I opened Brooke's nose so she could breathe.
I rooted Brooke's hair with beautiful mohair from OrgandyRose. I just love this mohair. This is a color called Sandstone, so baby Brooke is a towheaded kid. It can be left soft and fluffy, or be dampened to create beautiful little curls. Her hair is microrooted and looks as though it is growing from her scalp.
I gave Brooke a new soft baby body. Brooke now wears preemie sized baby clothing. Her full limbs have been filled with sterile sand and sealed to prevent leakage. Her body has been stuffed and weighted with premium polyester stuffing and poly pellets. She is so fun to dress. She kind of just melts into your arms when you pick her up. So fun.
You will have to support her little head when you hold her, just like a real baby.
Baby Brooke has a very strong magnet in her head and her pacifier. These rare-earth magnets should not be used around computer equipment or pace-makers. Please let me know if you need this magnet removed.

I feel so blessed by God to be able to create these incredibly "real" babies. I love creating them and I am anxious to share them with you. I have enjoyed real babies all my life and making these reborns seems to come naturally to me. I have been an artist for many years, painting with water colors and oils, so creating these small children is like painting on a 3D canvas. It is truly a gift from God. And, such fun!!!
