Briann was reborn from a brand new Berenguer Special Edition baby. I have always seen this face as a girl, so Briann was a girl before I ever started her. Please browse through Briann's pictures (sorry, lots of pictures, she was so fun to photograph!!!) and I will describe her"rebirth" to you. Baby Briann started life as all babies here at the Azygous Nursery. I removed all of her original color and started with the newly blank canvas. She took a nice warm bubble bath to bring out those pretty baby colors.

Although I sometimes create babies from the same sculpts, they cannot be reproduced and each Azygous Kids baby is unique. If baby Briann has wiggled into your heart, please bid now, as there will not be another just like her. I am not doing special order babies at this time, so if you would like an Azygous Kid, please bid on one here on ebay.

I hand painted Briann inside and out. Each little fold and crease was attended to. Of course, she is not a toy, but a collectible, heirloom, meant to last for a long time.

What a sweet little girl she is! I painted wispy eyebrows on baby Briann. I also painted natural colored lips that have been sealed and hand applied eyelashes to frame her beautiful blue eyes. Her little fingernails and toenails have been tipped in off-white (so natural looking) and all were sealed with a sealer that won't yellow with time. I opened Briann's nose very carefully, so she could breathe.

Those of you have have seen my babies before, know that I love to root baby hair. It's just my most favorite part of reborning babies. I have microrooted Briann's hair with the tiniest needle I had, to make it look like it was truly growing from her head. I also rooted it sparsely like a new baby's hair, so you can see her scalp through her hair. Briann has beautiful blonde curly mohair from OrgandyRose, homegrown in Oregon! You can dampen Briann's hair and smooth straight, or scrunch into little baby curls. It is sealed from within.

Briann has a new Euro style jointed cloth body. Her full limbs have been weighted with squishy baby fat pellets and soft polyfil . Her body has been weighted with baby fat pellets as well, and made soft with premium polyfil. Briann can wear 0-3 month size baby clothing.

You will have to support Lisa's little head when you hold her, just like a real baby.

Briann does not have a magnet inside her head. Because her mouth is opened, I was able to modify a regular pacifier for her.

I feel so blessed by God to be able to create these incredibly "real" babies. I love creating them and I am anxious to share them with you. I have enjoyed real babies all my life and making these reborns seems to come naturally to me. I have been an artist for many years, painting with water colors and oils, so creating these small children is like painting on a 3D canvas. It is truly a gift from God. And, such fun!!!
