Little Adrian started life as a Pat Secrist Zoe kit. I just LOVE this little face. This is the nicest, softest vinyl, and oh so cute!!! Please read on and see Adrian's photos. Enjoy, and as always, thanks for visiting the Azygous Kids Nursery.

Although I sometimes create babies from the same sculpts, they cannot be reproduced and each Azygous Kids baby is unique. I do special order babies, but already have several I am working on, so if you'd like an Azygous Kid right now, please bid on one here on ebay.

I hand painted Adrian to create real looking baby skin. I wanted him to have the mottled coloring of a fresh, new infant. Each little fold and crease was attended to. Of course, he is not a play toy, but a collectible, heirloom, meant to last for a long time.

I painted wispy eyebrows on Adrian. I also painted natural colored lips that have been sealed, and hand rooted eyelashes to match his dark brown hair. His fingernails and toenails have been tipped in off-white and all were sealed with a sealer that won't yellow with time. I opened Adrian's nose very carefully, so he could breathe.

Adrian has sparsely, micro rooted Heavenly Honey dark brown mohair. This is the most awesome mohair I have come across. (Thanks Angie).

Adrian's Homecoming:

Baby Adrian will arrive home to you in his darling Carter's Child of Mine gown/sleeper. You can change the snaps to make it change from a gown to a sleeper. He will be wearing his little white socks and his baby blue hat. He will bring along his Christmas stuffed moose, his blue pacifier and his favorite blanket (not pictured.) Of course, I wouldn't send him anywhere without an extra diaper!!!

Adrian's homecoming will be via Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation and cost $18.00.

I feel so blessed by God to be able to create these incredibly "real" babies. I love creating them and I am anxious to share them with you. I have enjoyed real babies all my life and making these reborns seems is just a gift from God for me. I have been an artist for many years, painting with water colors and oils, so creating these small children is like painting on a 3D canvas. It is truly a gift from God. And, such fun!!!
